Description
This 50mm x 2” inch BSP Male Adaptor (Plasson) is a heavy-duty compression fitting designed to connect 50mm MDPE pipe to a 2” inch BSP female-threaded outlet. It forms a strong, watertight connection between medium-density polyethylene pipe and threaded system components such as valves, tanks, and irrigation controllers.
The compression end of the adaptor securely grips the MDPE pipe using a push-fit mechanism, eliminating the need for adhesives, heat, or specialist tools. The male BSP thread on the opposite side provides a universal connection point for standard 2” inch BSP threaded fittings.
Manufactured from high-grade polypropylene copolymer, this fitting offers excellent resistance to corrosion, impact, and UV exposure. It is certified to ISO 17885 for water applications and pressure rated to PN16, making it suitable for both above-ground and underground water supply systems.
