Description
The BT Recessed Access Cover (915mm x 445mm) is a three-lid steel access cover designed for use in block paved areas where BT Openreach or telecom chamber access is required. With a clear opening of 915mm x 445mm and a frame depth of 86mm, it offers a low-profile solution without sacrificing strength.
This unit is manufactured from hot-dipped galvanised steel for excellent resistance to corrosion and long-lasting performance in outdoor environments. Its recessed tray design allows block paving to be laid directly into the tray, creating a flush finish that blends seamlessly with surrounding surfacing.
Tapered sides and centralised lifting points make the lids easy to remove and re-fit during inspections or maintenance. The lightweight construction ensures that each section can be safely removed by one person — reducing labour costs and complying with safe manual handling practices.
Rated to BS EN 124 Class B125, this access cover supports loads of up to 12.5 tonnes, making it suitable for pedestrian areas and light vehicle access points in commercial or residential zones.
