Known in the trade as a channel drain or ACO-style drain, this heelsafe model from our TEC range features a rugged Black iron grate and a durable polymer concrete channel body.
This version measures 1 metre in length, 150mm wide and 135mm deep — giving it a larger flow capacity while maintaining a compact profile suitable for both public and private environments. The integrated heelsafe grate is engineered to prevent high-heel entrapment and reduce trip hazards, ensuring it’s safe for pedestrian areas.
With a certified D400 load rating to BS EN 1433, this drainage channel handles up to 40 tonnes of wheel load, making it suitable for heavy traffic zones, car parks, loading bays, and road access points. The robust polymer concrete body resists wear, chemicals and frost, offering reliable long-term performance.
The unit is supplied as a complete piece, ready for installation without needing a separate grate. It can be laid in series for longer runs and is compatible with most standard underground drainage outlets, subject to configuration.
