Description
The Tec Line Drainage Sump 500mm x 100mm (D400 Heelsafe Grated) is a heavy-duty catchment unit designed to collect silt and debris from channel drainage systems before it enters the underground pipework. It seamlessly integrates with our TEC D400-rated 100mm wide polymer concrete channels.
This sump features a Black ductile iron heelsafe grate for pedestrian safety, making it suitable for use in public areas such as driveways, loading bays, and roads. A built-in silt bucket allows for easy removal of sediment during routine maintenance.
Measuring 500mm in length, 100mm in width, and 135mm in depth, the unit matches the dimensions of TEC’s standard D400 channel system and includes a 110mm base outlet for easy connection to drainage pipes. The compact design allows for installation at the end or midpoint of a run where silt collection is needed.
Built from polymer concrete, this sump offers excellent resistance to water, frost, salt, and chemical damage. It is rated to D400 under BS EN 1433, meaning it can handle up to 40 tonnes of load — ideal for use in heavy traffic areas.
